Special Monthly Challenge – Easter basket/container

Following on from the fab tutorial that Lena Katrine did for us (see the tutorial on the post below), our special monthly challenge is to create/alter an Easter basket or container.  The tutorial is for reference and you don’t have to make one of these baskets to enter the challenge, it’s up to you what you create to pop some Easter candy in.  Just remember to be in the draw for the prize you MUST use a Magnolia stamp.

When we saw the tutorial we (the DT) were a bit afraid of attempting it but to be honest Lena Katrine has written such a brilliant tutorial that the baskets really are very easy to make and – a word of warning – are rather addictive too!

Before we get on to the challenge, the winner of the gorgeous flowers kindly sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts is number 113 – Jude.  Congratulations Jude, can you please email me with your address so I can get your prize in the post to you.

As always, Simon Says Stamp is sponsoring our special monthly challenge to the tune of a fab $25 voucher for you to spend in their store, and Heidi even pays the shipping!!

With over 100,000 items in stock, Simon is proud to offer the best selection of Rubber Stamps, Scrapbooking, Artist Trading Cards, Altered Art, and Paper Crafting Supplies in the world! And they have the newest Magnolias in stock too.

Now, because this is a special challenge with an extra special prize the theme is a bit more challenging but we know you can all do it!   The challenge runs for the week, and closes on Thursday 11 February at 10pm

First up is our Featured Stamper – Lena Katrine (I just had to show these gorgeous pictures again lol)

I have made my basket and uploaded it to my blog, but I can't find Mr Linky to show you my creation.

So here is my basket

Sorry, I know you asked for it not to be linked here, and if Mr Linky re-appears I'll do it that way.

Thanks

Emma
